We have been a local business in Rangiora for over ten years now. We enjoy our town and larger farming community who use our services. We offer chiropractic care to any age group- from birth to elderly. We are ACC registered for your injury care as well as provide maintenance and prevention care. We offer Applied kinesiology which is a muscle testing technique for nutrient deficiencies in the body. In additional, we have other practitioners within our building that complement our services, osteopathy and physiotherapy.
COVID - 19 RESPONSE
Due to the Covid-19 virus our world has changed in last 24 months.
Not only in the way we minimize our risk of spread of any illness, by social distancing ourselves but also by staying home if one is unwell or has any symptoms.
In relation to the Covid-19 Vaccine, Select Health practitioners want to keep our clients as safe as possible, due to the known and unknown side effects of the vaccine for each individual we are asking patients to wait a week after their booster shot.
Common side effects - pain on site, tiredness, headaches, rash, swelling, hives, muscle pain, joint pain, fever, nausea, lymph swelling, diarrhea and vomiting. We don't want to confuse side effects with real musculoskeletal issues or treat the body while the immune system is under stress.
Most symptoms appear with in three days but can take up to week to manifest. Evidence suggests that the second dose can have delayed onset of symptoms and more severe reaction even if did not have any reaction symptoms the first time.

The spine is made up of 24 vertebra that connects with our skeletal system is also essential part of the skeleton as it houses the all important spinal cord. The spinal cord is the communicator, or network that connects our brain to the rest of the body. It is important for all movements in the body as well as connecting our body to our outside environment with the use of our senses for us to adapt and perceive the environment around us.
When the spine is injured or is overloaded by repeated stress, muscles can spasm and cause spinal dysfunction at one or multiple levels, hindering nerve communication to the rest of the body and discomfort. By restoring proper motion in the involved vertebra via a chiropractic adjustment it reinstates proper nerve flow and communication to guarding muscles to allows the healing to start.

Using Nutrients to build up weak reserves in the body which improves over all wellnes. She does a range of patients from the newly born to the elderly. She offers maintenance and ongoing care to prevent injury and to recover from injuries.

Judy has been in the industry for over 20 years and has a variety of skills to cater for a variety of issues. She trained in the U.K. firstly in McTimoney and then extended her knowledge into nutritional Applied kinesiology, muscle testing for nutritional deficiencies. Craniosacral is very low force technique which releases fascia adhesions and suitable for all age groups. She loves working with babies and through pregnanacy with mothers
